    The content of the stainless steel processing service project

     Stainless steel processing refers to the process of mechanically processing stainless steel by means of its properties, such as shearing, folding, bending and welding, to ultimately obtain stainless steel products required for industrial production.
    Uncoiling
    Uncoiling is a processing method of cutting steel coils into flat plates.
    Function
    1. Cut the steel coil into plates of appropriate size. It can be non-standard plates of different lengths. The main indicators for evaluating the quality of this processing are length tolerance, diagonal tolerance, and the quality of the shear cut, etc.
    2. Process the coiled steel coil into a flat plate. Steel materials generally have a good ability of elastic recovery. The uncoiling equipment eliminates the stress caused by the elastic recovery of the steel plate through the leveling roller to achieve a leveling effect. The main indicators for measuring the processing quality of this project are the plate shape, including longitudinal bending, transverse bending and various waves. At present, uncoiling machines are still quite common in the Wuxi market, and their technical content has also reached a certain level.


    The common uncoiling machines in the market can be roughly classified into three categories based on their processing capabilities: medium plate uncoiling, large plate uncoiling, and precision small uncoiling, which can basically meet various processing requirements.
    The medium plate uncoiler is a specialized equipment for processing hot-rolled coils, with a general processing capacity ranging from 3mm to 14mm in thickness. In the early days, medium plate uncoiling machines could only open hot-rolled coils with a maximum width of 1500mm. With the introduction of wide-width hot-rolled coils, in recent years, the hot-rolled uncoiling machines on various machining centers can generally open hot-rolled coils with a width of 2000mm. Some hot-rolled uncoiling machines also have edge cutting functions. Medium plate uncoiling machines are quite common. Almost every manufacturer with processing capabilities possesses this equipment and technology.
    Thin plate large uncoiling machines can generally process cold-rolled coils with a thickness ranging from 0.3mm to 3.0mm. In the early days, thin plate uncoiling machines could generally only process cold-rolled coils with a maximum width of 1300mm. However, with the wide application of 1500mm cold-rolled coils, 1500mm width uncoiling machines quickly occupied the market. The processing capacity of cold-rolled uncoiling machines is mainly reflected in aspects such as leveling, surface protection, and material stamping.
    Precision small uncoiling generally refers to the uncoiling machine that processes cold-rolled coils with a maximum width of less than 800mm and a processing thickness of 0.3mm to 3.0mm. Like the thin plate large opening uncoiler, it mainly processes high-demand cold-rolled coils, especially with higher requirements for surface protection. Its products are generally custom-opened thin plates and are widely used in stamping, precision cutting and other aspects. Precision small uncoiling is a relatively high-end product in the uncoiling field. Generally, due to technical difficulties, it is hard to achieve the desired width and thickness. This kind of equipment is generally purchased from some countries in Japan, South Korea, Europe and America, and the price is relatively high.
     



    Sub-division
    Slitting is a processing method that cuts steel coils into smaller ones in width. For slitting equipment, the first item to measure its processing quality is dimensional accuracy, especially for small-width longitudinal slitting, which has very high requirements for items such as width and sickle bend. Another point is that there are also very strict requirements for burrs at the cut.
    Dry grinding
    Dry grinding equipment is inexpensive, easy to operate and highly efficient. Therefore, most machining centers will introduce one or several dry grinding machines, mainly including HL (long filament), NO.4 (short filament), etc. These dry-ground textures have a good effect and can be applied to some surface decoration materials with lower requirements, offering a high cost-performance ratio.



    Polishing

    After hot working, mechanical processing or being placed for a certain period of time, a black or gray oxide scale will form on the surface of stainless steel. The main components of this scale are Cr2O3, NiO, and very insoluble FeO and Cr2O3. Their presence not only affects the appearance quality but also the performance of the product. Therefore, appropriate measures should be taken to remove them. There have been many reports on surface treatments such as the removal of oxide scale and polishing of stainless steel. Stainless steel polishing, as a mature surface treatment method, has been widely applied. Polishing can further enhance the corrosion resistance and brightness of stainless steel.
    New electrolytic polishing: First, the surface is polished, and then the surface is electrolyzed with electrolyte to achieve the natural luster of the metal surface. Its cost is high and the benefit is low. The difference between wet and dry polishing lies in the grinding resistance. The grinding resistance is related to the rigidity of the grinding machinery and the workpiece support system, as well as the vibration or grinding temperature during grinding. It also affects the service life of the grinding tool and the properties of the grinding surface.



    Shearing and bending
    The shearing and bending machine is a device capable of bending thin plates. Its structure mainly consists of a frame, a worktable and a clamping plate. The worktable is placed on the frame and is composed of a base and a pressure plate. The base is connected to the clamping plate through a hinge. The base is made up of a seat shell, a coil and a cover plate. The coil is placed in the depression of the seat shell, and the top of the depression is covered with a cover plate. When in use, the coil is energized by the wire. After being energized, it generates a gravitational force on the pressure plate, thereby achieving the clamping of the thin plate between the pressure plate and the base. Due to the adoption of electromagnetic force clamping, the pressure plate can be made into various shapes as required by the workpiece, and it can also process workpieces with side walls. The operation is also very simple.
